International Student Program Options
Short term Cultural Experience
The short term program is offered from mid-September to mid-June for durations of one month to 4 months and is designed to give the student an English Immersion experience. Students can take a break from their regular classes in their home countries, perhaps during summer or winter vacation. Courses include ESL instruction and support (if required) and elective courses that include full interaction with Canadian students. Please refer to our Entrance Requirements for this program. Students can participate in this program without a study permit, but need a valid passport.
Full Year Academic Program
This is a year long program where students are fully integrated with Canadian students in core subjects as well as electives. ESL class or support is still offered, however the student's English language proficiency should be at a sufficient level for the appropriate grade. Students can tailor their studies to suit their individual interests and career goals. In addition to required courses, students can choose from a wide range of elective subjects in fine arts, accounting and applied skills. Classes are based on the BC public school curriculum and includes the core subjects of English, mathematics, social studies (history), science and physical education. 1-3 Year Academic Program to Obtain a BC Graduation Certificate
This program is an opportunity for qualifying students to obtain a BC government Graduation Certificate.
While achieving full B.C. Ministry of Education requirements, students can take a variety of electives that allow the individual to stretch their creative abilities and God-given talent.
