STUDENT COUNCIL

St. Andrew’s Student Council is focused on building community, positive relationships and school spirit. With 15 dedicated and energetic student leaders, the Student Council and Team puts on some of the most incredible events in the school each year. Student Council  transforms the school into a "frightening" experience, with music, drama and a haunted house. Spirit weeks provide students and staff with the opportunity to let loose and have some fun. Special days are organized to celebrate Christmas, Valentine's Day, Jeans Day and others.  Community outreach is a part of everything we do. Our Ethiopian sponsor child Dageum is enjoying his 5th year of education as a result of our ongoing support.  We work throughout the year to improve our school community, those in need in Victoria and a variety of international outreach initiatives as well.  We have set a goal to establish a link between St. Andrew's community and the orphanage in Hogar Belen, Peru,  which is operated by the Franciscan Missionary Order.

Student Council is an inclusive group that welcomes participation from students year round. Through involvement in Student Council activities, students have the opportunity to establish relationships within a diverse student population and apply their leadership skills by coordinating other awesome student events.

More than anything, Students’ Council ROCKS!!!

Testimonials

This is how I explain what religion at this school teaches me. Sure I learn the history and analyze the Bible, but I also have been forming a set of morals and values that will go with me for the rest of my life. They are the foundation of who I am.

I am very excited to be able to link my Olympic journey, full of trials and tribulations, back to a very important time and place in my life: St. Andrew's Regional High School.

I feel truly blessed to have had the privilege of attending St. Andrew’s Regional High School. St. Andrew’s has given me the opportunity to grow spiritually, academically, artistically, and athletically.
