Tuition Fees

2017 — 2018 Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are set annually in early January. As a recognized independent school, we receive provincial government funding at 50% of the student operating cost allocated to the public schools in the district; there is no funding available from the government for capital costs.  St. Andrew's Regional High School fees include tuition, science laboratory fees, most elective programs, most textbooks, the annual yearbook, and many student activities.

Additional costs may include school supplies, school and athletic uniforms, course specific fees, extracurricular activity fees, class field trips and retreats, provincial and international sports and cultural arts tours.

TUITION PAYMENTS
Tuition fees are calculated on an annual basis. Parents/legal guardians agree to ensure full payment of all fees in advance by one of the following methods:
• By single advance payment of the full amount; or
• By submitting 12 equal payments using the school’s pre-authorized debit form.

Charitable donation income tax receipts will be issued to cover a portion of the tuition fees for some students.

TERMS
Please note: One month's written notice of withdrawal from the school is required. Notice must be given by the first of the month. Those withdrawing without prior notice will be charged for an additional month's tuition. No deductions to tuition can be made for partial attendance or holidays.

PARENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Families are required to provide 10 hours of volunteer service to the school each year. At the time fee payment arrangements are made, families are requested to submit a cheque for $100.00 dated June 1st of the following year for the Parent Volunteer Program. This cheque will be returned once the 10 hours of service has been completed, or your family will be reimbursed at a rate of $10.00 per hour for hours completed.

TUITION FEES BREAKDOWN - Parish Supporter, Non Parish Supporter, Family Discount Rate

Parish Supporter
Catholic parishes in Victoria pay an annual fee towards the cost of St. Andrew’s Regional High School. Catholic parish supporters may, therefore, apply to their pastors for “Active Parish Participant” designation using the Parish Supporter form in order to qualify for the reduced tuition as noted below. A financial assistance program is available for families who demonstrate the need for financial support. Applications for Financial Assistance must be submitted annually by February 26.

These fees are subject to change and will be updated for the coming school year.

Testimonials
This is how I explain what religion at this school teaches me. Sure I learn the history and analyze the Bible, but I also have been forming a set of morals and values that will go with me for the rest of my life. They are the foundation of who I am.
